Producer, Anime Department at Shochiku Co., Ltd. Main projects include xxxHOLiC - A Midsummer Night's Dream, Tsubasa Chronicle - The Princess of the Birdcage Land and various short animation programs.

What do you yourself consider most important in the Le Chevalier D'Eon project?
I am the only female attending the script meetings, so I contribute my ideas as a representative of the women in Japan, and make sure Durand and Robespierre stay on track being "cool guys."

Are there any differences in developing scripts for anime and feature films?
In feature film projects, you only work for a short period in the scenario process. But for Le Chevalier D'Eon, I have participated from planning the project to the script meetings that are held for each episode. It has been such an "intense" commitment. I will miss it and might cry when it's over.
