Yoshimi Itazu's directorial debut mid-lenght film Pigtails was awarded Best Animation and Best Song in a Film (for Ichiko Aoba's Kami-sama no Takurami / Divine Design) at the April Session of the Los Angeles Film Awards 2017.

Los Angeles Film Awards is an IMDb qualifying monthly film competition for filmmakers worldwide, with the mission to promote films, and be another step up in the filmmakers' careers.
