Kenji Kamiyama's Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society, will receive its Canadian premiere at the 11th Fantasia Film Festival, held from July 5 to 23 in Montreal, Canada.

Started in 1996, Fantasia is by now North America's premiere showcase of international genre cinema. In 2000, Hiroyuki Kitakubo's Blood: The Last Vampire received the Public's Prize as Best Asia Feature Film.
